Re: Vitamin A Suppositories for Dysplasia - Now pregnant!
Hi backyardbees! I hope you are feeling well. How did the appt with the midwife go? I would not worry at all about the vitamin A so early - the relationship between mother and developing child is symbiotic. We would not have gotten very far as a species if we were too fragile in the first few weeks ...

Re: Red Clover and Ovulation
Don't be afraid! Red Clover is a great ally for women. Of course every woman is different and has different needs. It could be that you do not need what she has to offer. Myself, I got pregnant twice in one year in my mid forties (after already starting down the road of cronehood) by just drinking r...

Re: Equisetum/horsetail
It's one of my very favorites! It healed my kidneys and is regrowing broken teeth in my mouth. The silica in this plant is magic. Since silica is a building block of the body, horsetail can help rebuild and repair most anything - internally and externally. It makes a wonderful face toner, as it rebu...

Re: Cleavers
I've only ever tinctured it fresh or eaten it fresh - it does shrivel away when you dry it but the parts are still there! I imagine it reconstitutes okay in liquid?

Re: menopause and sex!
I have to agree with Rose and Susun - 7 a week keeps everything in tip top shape. It doesn't matter who does it or how it happens, just make it happen

Re: Short or Long Ride with Perimenopause?
This one is hard for me because I was in the beginning stages for a few years when I got pregnant a couple years ago. My moons had drawn out to about 40 days apart and I had all the anxiety, hot flashes, anger issues that seem pretty common so I started drinking rrl and red clover infusions to balan...

Re: Question about Oatstraw herbal infusion
Personally, I use more tops than stems but mainly because I enjoy the full flavor of the oat more that way. I do believe there are more elements in the top than in the stem but I don't think it's a "make or break" situation. That's the wonderful thing about plant magic - you self-test and ...

Re: So Cold!
Thyroid? That's the first thing that popped into my head - especially considering the other issues you listed (even though you have them under control). I would add some generous portions of kelp, or other seaweed, to your daily diet and see how your temperature does after about 2 weeks. I take 2 tb...
