I have been using coconut oil, I buy mine in bulk from Costco, so its a good deal and I get a lot of it. Also coconut oil has some good antibacterial properties, which I think enhances what ever your infusing.

If your in pain right now, you can use Clove oil, dripping a couple of drops into a cotton swab and holding it onto the area.

Inguinal Hernia

Now for a guy question, :D has anyone heard of any natural / herbal treatments for an inguinal hernia? I have herd of them healing up under the right conditions.... So how can I create those conditions?

The only one I know about that is safe to take internally, is oil of oregano, and I know it works! It must be diluted in a carrier oil.

My list of possible herbs included Oatstraw, Red Clover, Astragalus, Burdock, Dandelion, Slippery Elm, Horsetail (for mouth and gums), Pau d arco.
