I have managed to gather just a few burdock seeds this year, from a plant on the grounds at work that I am sure will be dug up as soon as maintenance figures out that it's there. If you look at the list of herbs in the article, I'm not that surprised - several of them are high in thujone.
I've always been given to understand that essential oils should NEVER be used internally, and I say better safe than sorry!

I wonder if she's referring to things like digitalis from foxgloves, that is used in allopathic medicine for the heart, but is violent and can kill you? I.e. things that in very small quantities and very limited circumstances can help, but are really dangerous?
