A PLANT AT A TIME SERIES

Postby LadyB » Sun Apr 15, 2007 10:23 am

Once upon a time, we had lots of "A Plant at a Time" threads in order to consolidate all our gathered info about them.
FINALLY I shall attempt to link to each of them, so that if you came here looking for any of these particular plant allies, you'll have threads to read and contribute to without starting new ones. Feel free to contribute to the ends of ANY of these once you’ve read them through as that will bump them back up to the top of the section!

All we ask is that you read the entire thread before asking a new question as it may have already been well-answered, and also, although I’m sure we didn’t always do it in the past, let’s try to stay on topic. But do contribute your experiences and stories and puzzlements and links to photos to ANY of these! And I don’t have to be the only one to start new ones. If you really want to start a Plant at a Time thread, just title it that way and UP it goes. Emailing any of the mods of this section to add it to the list is good as I might not catch them all.

~LadyB (do you hear that? I think the plants are glad we’re here! :D )

LadyB - Thank you for putting these links together for us! I've been going through them, adding a few notes to my already bulging herbal notebook and enjoying remembering some old friend's comments as I'm reading.

Think I'll go and rub some golden rod oil on my sore hands. Thanks for reminding me of things forgotten!

Yes, I am menopausal, thank you for noticing. I have pepper spray in one pocket and chocolate in the other.

Lady B,

I would like to say thank you for posting this "Plant at a time" series.
I am really enjoying reading them and the threads are helping me learn some more about the plants where before I may not have had time to search for something and would just post a "help" message.

Thank you again.
Blessings,

What about Mullein? Is there a plant at a time thread including this awesome plant?

I have heard lots of good things from people who have tried nettle teas and soups. I can't wait to try some...as soon as I find a patch nearby!
