What are you wanting to make, and why?
It is possible to make EOs at home, or hydrosols. Ananda has talked about this here in the past if you want to look it up. Her website is http://plantjourneys.blogspot.com I would however suggest that you start with infused oils. They are way simpler and more useful and will teach you much about the plants if you then want to make EOs.
There are also some discussions in past threads about the problems with EOs.
