i fell in love with red clover blossoms last spring and summer, and still have a jar of blooms that i harvested towards the end of summer before leaving my land. i want to start drinking them in infusions, but have also had a strong feeling that they'd be So soothing in a salve.
have you had any experience making/using red clover blossoms in oil or salve form? what did you use it for? how did it feel to you?
thanks =)

i love it in an oil, and salve, and in fact you have reminded me to make more, thank you!
i find it very soothing on my skin, and use it as part of my anti-cancer strategies. i would follow those feelings if i were you!

thanks treewicca!
sadly, where i lived in missouri last year seems to have way more wild red clover than my new home on the range in kansas. i've barely seen any in the fields out here (though perennial sweet pea keeps fooling me, with its swaths of pink by the roadside). i'm keeping my eye out, though. and in the meantime, i've scattered handfuls of fresh seed in my gardens, and it's popping up like crazy. i don't know how long it will be until flowering, though. probably a while. those are the tiny red clover sprouts in the picture.
