Is there a big difference between the older version and the new one? I guess I probably should get the new one, huh?

Great Question!! I was just speaking with Susun about this the other day. Her newly revised menopause "bible" is 100 pages bigger than the original and also every page has been revised, there are hundreds more remedies and much updated information. Susun has even reversed her view on some mis-used products such as soy and progesterone cream...well, take a look at some excerpts at http://www.menopause-metamorphosis.com and see for yourself : ))) much love, Justine

I have been using this book both the old version and now the new one for at least 5 years and I am not anywhere close to menopausal. This book has so much awesome woman empowering info in it and I find it is truly a bible for me. I have consulted the book many times to answer questions that I have had concerning some menopause like stuff I am dealing with because I have an IUD. Also some of the issues that come up with having 3 babies in three years like urinary incontinence[:I] and weight loss the wise woman way. Not to mention headaches and restless legs syndrome which I always have when I am pregnant.

greetings! I am new to the forum, but sooooo glad i found it. i am nowhere near Menopause myself, but i picked it up as research for my aromatherapy massage business, to learn about using plants for this Sacred time of a Woman's life. i wanted to be able to pass on information to my clients and make use of the information for the women in my life too. and this book blew the roof off my world! i feel so enlightened now! this book lead me to the Childbearing year and the Wise Woman Herbal, both books joining the Menopausal Years as my ultimate herbal bible trilogy. thanks Susun!

A book I love!!! This book, in my opinion, is for all women, from menarche on.

When the New book came out, I thought to save trees (and money) by borrowing it from the library and updating my old one in pen!! Well, several pages, and hours, later, I quickly realized this was very different (not just a few changes and a new name as I have experienced some books). This truly is a New book and one I recommend to many!

I said I think it is for all women, but I have even referenced to it for men (like my BIL when suffering deep grief and anxiety attacks returning to work after his loss).

An excellent book!!

I have just recieved Susuns books in the mail today, very exciting. The Menopausal book looks amazing and I cant wait to read it, but my mother-in-law called in the same day and spotted it and started looking at it and asked could she PLEASE borrow it so she could read it. So guess where my new book has gone to [:(], never mind I have the other ones to read in the mean time.

A testimonial from Anne Marie:

Dear Susun,

I love your books. "Grandmother Growth" has walked as menopause
has gone through me (it isn't I who go through it) -- and I thank you
very much for authoring these books.

Now I would like to ask if you have done any research on what
herbal allies are available in the case of a biological or chemical
attack. Our government has a "domestic preparedness program",
however, everything I've read says that we aren't prepared well at all.

God bless you,

Anne Marie

A testimonial from Kris:

Dear Ms. Weed,

Thank you for your book Menopausal Years. It has changed the course of my life. Racked with PMS all my life it wasnít until recently that it was becoming debilitating for weeks at a time. In desperation I was planning a trip to the doctor when you book came my way. For the first time I found information about herbs that seemed relevant to me. All the other herbal books I had read, had the information but the format didnít work. It was just confusing facts that needed deciphering for personal use. Your book changed that for me. I have always been interested in herbs. I have been using homeopathic for years for my family but this is the first time Iíve got closer to the source through hands on application to treat long standing health issues that I had resigned myself to living with for the rest of my life. I feel a sense of renewal and empowerment I havenít felt before. Thank you again for the information.

Cheers

Kris
